Overactive Bladder (OAB), or urge incontinence, is a type of urinary incontinence which causes an involuntary loss of urine. It is associated with frequent urination, urgency, and trouble making it to the restroom in time. There are multiple medications available to treat urge incontinence. Medication, in conjunction with physical therapy, is an excellent treatment option. Botox injections to the bladder, a newer treatment option available through our OB/GYN practice in Chattanooga, can help patients with more severe urge incontinence.
